Krypton were appointed to carry out a refurbishment of the CT scanner room within the hospital to allow for the installation of new equipment.

Project Profile
These works included:
- The strip of out the existing room including fixtures, fittings, flooring, and ceiling.
- The cutting and filling of a new floor channel for the installation of power to the new CT scanner.
- The design and installation of a new ceiling which allowed existing M&E to remain in-situ.
- Laying of electrostatic discharge vinyl flooring and decorations throughout the room.
Challenge & Solution
Throughout these works, the hospital remained live. To minimise disruption use, we programmed all works collaboratively with management staff and the facilities team with all intrusive and potentially disruptive works being completed out of hours.
