Project Profile
Krypton were appointed to supply and install FD60 Doors throughout the warehouse alongside the isolation of the existing power circuits. Our team also carried out the redecoration to existing doors the branch wished to keep.
Challenge & Solution
As the works involved fire door removal, we had to ensure fire compartmentalisation was not breached. Our programme was developed to remove, fit, and fire-proof one door each day throughout the duration of the works. As these works were conducted within the live environment, our team would fire watch and be on alert to raise an alarm, if necessary, to cover the area we were working in.
