These works consisted of the refurbishment of theatre 1 & 2 within a live hospital environment.

Our team stripped out both the existing theatres and undertook a fit out which included, new flooring, doors, new services including electrical door systems, pressure stabilisers and fire alarm interfaces. Decorations to all areas were undertaken to the client specification with a medical clean taking place prior to completion. 

The hospital needed access to the new theatres as soon as possible so the programme had to be delivered in a short timescale. To ensure works were carried out efficiently, we planned for multiple trades to be on site at any one time, sequenced works so there was no downtime and held weekly progress meetings. 

Drying times for the latex floor had to be planned meticulously to ensure progress was not delayed. Whilst the drying was taking place, we had trades completing works in other areas so no hindrance was caused.
